The steering committee is testing online documents to simplify collaboration and version control. Documents and spreadsheets can be stored online with "Google Docs and Spreadsheets".
To access team documents, you need to sign up for a free Google account (you can use your existing email adress or get a new Google Mail account). The email address you usewill be put on any pertinent team documents to identify you as a "collaborator". You can then access/edit/print/save/etc. that document or spreadhsheet from any Internet-connected computer using your Google account. No software installation is required, and it works with PCs and Macs (though there have been reports of difficulty on OSX Macs using certain versions of the Safari browser) .
